I’m Kea and I’m really glad you’ve found my website! This online shop carries my passion for quality craftsmanship and specially dyed yarns.

I am a graphic designer by education. I’m also a wife, mother to four children (two of whom are not so much children anymore) and grandmother to my first grandchild. Ah yes – I’m also a mum of a 17 year old Sphynx cat.

I have always been a creative person. Initially, this was expressed in a great love of art and drawing, and later in studying graphic design.

I discovered craft for myself in 2020, when Covid’s first wave and isolation came. I gave in to my admiration for people who could create something beautiful and precious with their hands, and also to my passion for creating something with my own hands, and I started knitting and crocheting my first items.

My products are mainly made from high quality and only soft and natural yarns such as merino wool, alpaca, mohair, silk, cashmere, cotton, etc. Yes, there are exceptions – for example, sock yarn must contain some wear-resistant polyamide. Also toys/puppets. However, you will definitely not find items made from acrylic yarn on my website and in my e-shop. I also avoid using the so called “normal” wool yarn, as I find it rough and uncomfortable to wear.

For dyeing natural yarns, I use specially designed yarn dyes, which are durable, yet friendly to the wearer.
