Description: these yarns are made from a very fine (19.5 micron) merino wool that feels extremely soft and delicate in contact with the skin. These yarns are worsted spun from extra long staple fibres to produce a yarn that is fine and strong with a silky feel.
A very versatile yarn, it can be used for large shawls, scarves, wraps, hats, mittens, sweaters, jumpers, children’s and baby clothes.
Care: although gentle machine washing with a 30°C wool programme is allowed, I recommend hand washing in room-warm water with a special wool detergent to keep the colours bright. Avoid wringing and twisting. Dry on a flat surface, out of direct sunlight. Avoid sudden changes in water temperature. Do not spin or tumble dry.
Country of origin: Australia
None of our wool comes from farms that use the mulesingprocedure.
