Description: medium grade, 27 micron superwash merino wool is combined with nylon for a very durable and springy sock yarn, designed for items that will be worn and washed a lot. Although not as soft as the superfine 19,5 micron merino yarns, this yarn is fantastic for hard wearing socks, gloves and jumpers. Overall, a great yarn for those looking for a soft yarn with maximum durability.
Care: although gentle machine washing with a 30°C wool programme is allowed, I recommend hand washing in room-warm water with a special wool detergent to keep the colours bright. Avoid wringing and twisting. Dry on a flat surface, out of direct sunlight. Avoid sudden changes in water temperature. Do not spin or tumble dry.
Country of Origin: South America (Punta Arenas, Chile)
None of our wool comes from farms that use the mulesingprocedure.
