All the wool used in Will studio merino yarns comes from sheep raised without the mulesing or skinning process. Most of the 19.5-micron merino wool comes from Australia, where only certified mulesing-free wool is purchased. The remainder of the merino wool on offer comes from South America and South Africa, where mulesing is not necessary due to climatic conditions. All wool comes only from farms that meet strict animal welfare standards.
